The Comrade Prime Minister, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, proceeded, this Friday, October 2, 2026, in Ouagadougou, the official launch of the second phase of the 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizen Participation (JEPPC), coupled with the opening of the governmental exhibition. On that occasion, the Head of Government delivered the message of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
Placed under the theme “Burkinabè production, burkinabè consumption!”, this second phase of the JEPPC takes place from 2 to 16 October 2026, throughout the national territory as well as in the diplomatic missions of Burkina Faso.
For this phase 2, the new slogan of the President of Faso states: “All for the Made in Burkina: Let us make every purchase an act of sovereignty”.
According to him, three locks still maintain our dependence. It is about production, processing and consumption, which he described as “links to the same chain”.
That is why he called on Burkinabe to strengthen their patriotic commitment, through the promotion of national production, and the processing and consumption of local products.
He invited in the sense of individual and collective responsibility for the construction of a Burkina Faso more oriented towards its own potential, by banishing the enemies of this battle of fraud, smuggling, false statements and silent boycott.
The Head of State also stressed the need to make the “African market the African market”.
Several activities are planned during this edition, including conferences on civics, the rise of the national pavilion and the wearing of traditional outfits.
The governmental exhibition, held from 2 to 9 October 2026 at the Pavillon du Soleil Levant of the Ouagadougou International Crafts Fair (SAO), is one of the highlights of this second phase of the JEPPC.
Through their stands, the various ministerial departments present the public with their main achievements, reforms and innovations.
The aim is to bring public action closer to citizens and to promote a better understanding of the policies and programmes implemented within the framework of the Progressive People’s Revolution (PRP).
Panels are also planned to enable citizens to interact directly with Government members, ask questions and raise concerns.
Through this exhibition, the Government intends to strengthen accountability and dialogue with citizens, providing a framework for information, exchange and listening to public action.
